Description
A fun and colorful DIY project to create a whimsical Rainbow Panda Pencil Cup for organizing your desk.
Materials
- An empty and clean plastic bottle (large soda bottle)
- Non-toxic acrylic paints (red, blue, green, yellow, black, white)
- Paintbrushes (various sizes)
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Black marker
- Optional: googly eyes, decorative stickers, washi tape
Instructions
- Prepare the bottle by cleaning and cutting it to the desired height of 6-8 inches.
- Apply a base coat of white acrylic paint all over the outside of the bottle and let it dry.
- Create the panda face by painting large circles for eyes and ears with black paint, then add features like a nose and mouth.
- Add colorful stripes using vibrant colors on the bottom half of the cup to make it rainbow-themed.
- Outline the panda features with a black marker and add googly eyes or decorative stickers for fun.
Notes
Use a hair dryer to speed up paint drying, and consider personalizing with names using decorative tape.
