Description

Create stunning marbled glue butterfly suncatchers with simple materials. This fun and visually captivating craft is perfect for all skill levels.

Materials

  • Clear glue
  • Butterfly-shaped silicone mold
  • Liquid watercolor (2-3 colors)
  • Glitter
  • Toothpick
  • String

Instructions

  1. Fill the butterflies by pouring clear glue into the butterfly-shaped silicone mold, filling each shape generously without overflowing.
  2. Add drops of two or three colors of liquid watercolor into the glue to create beautiful blends.
  3. Swirl the colors together lightly with a toothpick to achieve a marbled effect.
  4. Sprinkle a bit of glitter on top of the swirled glue for added sparkle.
  5. Dry the butterflies for several hours or overnight; once dry, gently peel them out of the mold.
  6. Hang your suncatcher by poking a small hole at the top and threading string through to display in a sunny spot.

Notes

Use quality materials for the best results and allow ample drying time. Experiment with different colors and shapes for unique variations.
